Teeth Cleaning
Professional Scaling & Cleaning
Teeth scaling is a safe and essential procedure that everyone should undergo at least once every six months. Using our advanced ultrasonic scaler, we gently remove plaque, tartar, and bacteria that regular brushing cannot reach.
Important to Know: After cleaning your teeth, you may feel rough surfaces on the insides — these are the original tooth surfaces. This is quite normal. Cleaning improves oral hygiene but does not change the color of teeth.
What to Expect After Scaling
- You may feel gaps near the necks of the teeth after cleaning. Your teeth are not weakened — they are healthier and stronger.
- Teeth cleaning removes dirt only. The color of teeth can be altered through a separate teeth whitening treatment.
- Smokers and tobacco/betel nut chewers may require cleaning once every 2 months.
- Patients with sensitive teeth or bleeding gums may require additional enamelling treatments alongside scaling.
Do's & Don'ts After Tooth Removal
- Do NOT probe the tooth removal site with your tongue or finger — this can cause fresh bleeding and infection.
- Bite the cotton at the removal site for one hour without changing it. Do not spit or gargle during this time.
- Eat only soft, liquid food during the first day. Avoid hard or hot foods.
- Do not smoke or drink alcohol for at least one week after extraction.
